Overview

PharmaVault helps authorized users manage pharmacy inventory, medication records, batch details, quantities, barcode or QR identifiers, and expiry dates. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Camera Permission

PharmaVault requests camera access only to scan barcodes, QR codes, GS1 codes, and batch or expiry information. Camera access is used when the user opens a scanning feature. Images or video from the camera are used for scanning inside the app and are not sold.

Account and Login Data

PharmaVault uses Firebase Authentication for email/password and Google sign-in. Authentication data may include name, email address, profile image, and Firebase user identifier as provided by the login method.

Inventory Data

Inventory data entered by users, including medication names, ingredient names, item codes, barcodes, GTIN values, supplier names, locations, categories, group names, prices, batch numbers, quantities, and expiry dates, is stored in the PharmaVault backend database to provide the app's inventory features.

Data Sharing

PharmaVault does not sell user data. Data may be processed by service providers used to operate the app, including hosting, database, authentication, and scanning services, only as needed to provide app functionality.

User Responsibility

Scan results and inventory entries should be reviewed by the user before saving or acting on them. PharmaVault is an inventory tool and does not provide medical advice.
